Dealing with an Outbreak
It’s likely that you’ll want to inform parents of a head lice outbreak as quickly as possible. Head lice can be easily passed between classmates and contact tracing is a key step in the control of a head lice infestation.
We’ve designed a letter template you can download, copy and send to parents when a head lice outbreak has been identified. The letter contains useful information and advice on how to detect and treat head lice.
